In the summer of 2015, we visited a Berry farm in California. It was a beautiful farm and to our surprise, we had full access to all products without anyone supervising the payment. Customers just had to pick what they liked and put the payment in the cash box.

We had never seen something like this before and got curious. On speaking to the owner of the farm, we learnt that while this unique business model certainly isn't crime proof, a few small farms practiced it. It was a joy to witness customers sometimes leaving more money than they owed, just because they loved the concept.

That simple message was so inspiring, we decided to introduce this concept in India. "Honour Till" was eventually launched on Oct 15th, 2015 at MGD Girl's School.
